Design of a hangout spot for hospitalized teenagers.
The project aims to provide hospitalized teenagers between the age of 12 to 18 with a dedicated hangout spot where they can engage in social communication.
The assignment came from SKION - Stichting Kinder Oncologie Nederland.
LUMO should invite hospitalized teenagers to hang out and interact with each other. The moodboard was inspiring for what concerns the shape and the use of the product.
The interaction between users and the product is realized by a capacitive touch sensor attached behind the Hi-Macs material. The LED inside the walls can be lighted up by a simple touch.
